These are trending photos of a python which was killed by a police officer at a rural area in Nigeria.
The actual location the dangerous reptile was killed remains unknown. The discovery spread panic among residents of the area who never knew such an animal existed around them.
A social media user made jokes out of the event with the comment below:
"On behalf of the joyful news of yesterday, I hereby direct that this snake is sentenced to death by pepper soup and chilled bottle of Heineken"
